Job shadowing allows you to spend a day with an experienced healthcare professional in your chosen field of interest. Additionally, you will be able to tour CalvertHealth and see all that it has to offer.
Job Shadows are scheduled Monday through Friday for a single day and can last up to 4 hours maximum. Human Resources will coordinate the date and time with the appropriate Doctor or Department Representative.
Criteria to participate:
- Job Shadowing is open to high school students at least 16 years of age, college students and adults interested in a healthcare career.
- Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the consent portion of this form below and on the CalvertHealth Confidentiality Agreement.
- Consent from your School is required if the job shadow takes place during school hours.
- You must provide your own transportation.
NOTE: Job shadowing is prohibited in the following departments: Behavioral Health, OBGYN, Family Birth Center and the Emergency Department.
